MAIS Sportsmanship Creed & Broadcast/Telecast Statements (Please read before each game)
The MAIS believes good sportsmanship is an integral component of interscholastic competition. In order for good sportsmanship to prevail, coaches, student-athletes and fans must display respect, fairness, civility, honesty and responsibility before, during and after all athletic contests. We encourage fans to enthusiastically support their team, recognize outstanding performance of opponents, and always exhibit good sportsmanship in their words and actions. Any profanity, derogatory comments and/or other intimidating words or actions directed at the officials, student-athletes, coaches, team representatives or other spectators will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the premises. Also, please note that MAIS playoff games are copyrighted by the MAIS and any broadcast or telecast of this game without the expressed written consent of the MAIS is prohibited. Any unauthorized broadcast or telecast of this game could result in a fine and/or probation for the school(s) responsible for such. Thanks for your support of MAIS athletics. The athletes playing tonight from these two schools have worked very hard and appreciate your support and encouragement.
